A runner’s progress - day 5
Today’s weather - blustering winds and horizontal rain.
I still ran in it. Like a boss.
Running into the wind was horrific so I tried not to as much as possible, thus it was a pretty short run. That and I think I’m getting shin splints so I really need to buy some new trainers ASAP.
There were a few nutters out, running and cycling. We exchanged brave, ‘yes, aren’t we mad?’ looks as we passed each other, battling through wind and rain.
Running along the seafront means that I can’t avoid the wind and my hair was stiff with salt when I came in. All of my clothes were soaked. My trainers are in the boiler cupboard right now.
Totally worth it.
